The California Central Coast Chapter of NECA serves as the voice of the electrical contracting industry for Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.
The National Electrical Contractors Association has been shaping the electrical industry since 1901, when a group of forward thinking contractors united to bring integrity and structure to a rapidly electrifying world. Over a century later, NECA remains the authoritative voice of the $130 billion electrical industry, building on a legacy of protecting the public and making innovation possible.
The California Central Coast Chapter serves Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties, a region as electrically diverse as it is geographically stunning. Our member contractors power everything from precision agriculture operations, to cutting edge aerospace infrastructure at VSFB and critical energy production facilities at Diablo Canyon Power Plant. Whatever the project demands, our contractors deliver, backed by the most skilled and technically advanced electricians in the industry.
The Chapter Board of Directors convenes monthly to discuss chapter strategy, plan events, and address the issues shaping our industry. Their work ensures our members stay connected, informed, and represented.
Our Executive Manager and Labor Relations Committee work with IBEW Local Unions to enforce labor agreements and oversee employee benefit trust funds.
NECA and the IBEW work cooperatively to manage a special fund for community donations and outreach. Our goal is to make our communities better.
Continuing education on new technologies, improved construction methods, and industry updates through meetings, seminars, and workshops.
Comprehensive safety resources and programs to protect your workforce and ensure compliance with the latest safety standards.
NECA advocates for your business and our industry at the federal, state, and local level on the issues that matter most.
Join us for networking, education, and community at our chapter events.
